Activity of the Committee

Term 2020-2023

5^th and 6^th Plenary Meetings of CC&PE PAS will be held in September and December 2022

4^th Plenary Meeting of CC&PE PAS, 13.12.2021

Due to pandemic reasons this Committee meeting was held on-line.

Agenda:

- organization of the All Polish Conference on Chemical Engineering; presentation given by Professor R. Rakoczy

- the matter of the Chemical and Process Engineering journal; presentation given by Prof. A. Stankiewicz (Editor-in Chief)

- the matter of contemporary challenges in teaching of chemical engineering – introduction to wide discussion; presentation by Prof. E. Molga.

After discussion the working plan leading to definition of a new core curriculum for teaching of chemical engineering in Poland was elaborated.

3^th Plenary Meeting of CC&PE PAS, 21.06.2021

Due to pandemic reasons this Committee meeting was held on-line.

Agenda:

- summary of the Chemical and Process Engineering journal Editor-in-Chief activity during his the therm of office 2012-2020; presentation given by Prof. A. Biń.

Adopting of the Committee Resolution to tank Prof. Biń for his editorial efforts.

- new Editor-in-Chief plan of works (modification of journal profile, digitalization of editorial process, internationalization of the Editorial Board etc.), presentation given by Prof. A. Stankiewicz

- presentation given by Prof. E. Molga on  the survey results on the condition of the chemical engineering scientific community in Poland. Data collected from all chemical engineering  11 institutions (universities, research institutes).

2^nd Plenary Meeting  of CC&PE PAS, 7.12.2020

A number of important resolutions was adopted:

- regulations for Committee activity were adopted

- work plan for the therm 2020-2023 was adopted

- structure of the Committee was established (Task Groups were set up instead of Sections)

- the content of Committee was supplemented (5 new Members were elected)
